One of the very first permanent buildings inTonopah is located on Mineral Street and was built in 1901. It was known as the Wieland Brewery Building. It was on of the first stone buildings constructed in Tonopah. H.C. Brougher was the brewery's first owner and one of the initial investors in the Mizpah Hotel in 1910. Businessman Harry King bought the brewery by the end of 1901 and sold it to the two other business men in the spring of 1902. That October King repurchased the building. The Wieland Brewery Building was added to the national Register of Historic places on May, 1982. Fred and Nancy Cline purchased the property at the same time they purchased the Mizpah Hotel in 2011. The historic gem was beautifully transformed and brought back to life in 2017.
